Our GPs can help answer any questions or concerns you may have about your baby or child’s health and development. We are trained to perform newborn 6 week checks. For complex matters, we also collaborate with paediatricians.

General practitioners are generally the first port of call for anyone seeking advice and treatment for a mental illness. Our doctors are experienced in providing private and supportive care for our patients with mental illness, without discrimination or judgement.

Depending on the problem your GP may discuss and prescribe a medication or they may refer you to a psychologist for non-pharmacological treatment. Our doctors are able to create a mental health treatment plan (MHTP)where necessary and for eligible conditions. A mental health treatment plan allows for a substantial Medicare rebate on psychology treatment sessions. Our doctors will work alongside other healthcare professionals such as psychologists and/or psychiatrists to achieve the best outcome for you.

Doctors at our practice are your first port of contact for any skin related issue you may have. Many common skin conditions are diagnosed and treated by our skilled GPs such as eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, fungal infections and acne to name just a few. We also offer patients skin cancer checks for early detection of skin cancer. Our GPs use a handheld dermatoscope to closely examine moles. Where necessary our doctors can carry out simple biopsies and excisions for various lesions that are of concern. Some of our practitioners can also remove cysts and treat small abscesses. Where needed you may be recommended and referred to a specialist dermatologist for further assessment and treatment.

If your weight is causing you concerns or leading to health problems then speak with one of our doctors to discuss weight loss strategies. They have the knowledge and experience to help you with your weight loss journey. Our GPs can assist you in achieving a healthy weight by recommending a range of solutions tailored to suit you. They may start with advising you on some lifestyle changes and likely recommend diet changes. As an adjunct weight loss medications may be used where necessary and appropriate. You may also be referred to a dietitian and/or an exercise physiologist.

Our clinic provides all the government funded childhood Immunisations as outlined in the Immunisations Schedule. From time to time adults may require certain Immunisations depending on your age, travel plans and stage of life. For example, the annual flu vaccination is recommended for both children and adults each year during autumn. In most instances updated vaccination records are sent to Australian Immunisations Register.
